Our world is changing. As educators, we see this firsthand in our classrooms and communities. We want to meet the needs of every student in our educational systems through a curriculum designed for this changing world.

To better serve our students, we need to prepare them for the future. At the Carolyn A. and Peter S. Lynch School of Education and Human Development, we prepare dynamic educators like you to thrive in a changing world via our Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Global Perspectives: Teaching, Curriculum, and Learning Environments.

Preparing Dynamic Educators

The Master of Education in Global Perspectives: Teaching, Curriculum, and Learning Environments is among the first curriculum and instruction programs in the U.S. to apply globally informed learning designs to solve complex educational challenges. Through their course of study, program students complete 12 courses (30 credit hours) where they engage with peers, collaborate on research, and draw on international perspectives to generate local solutions.

More than an M.Ed., our program prepares educators to improve the common good through effective curriculum designed to serve students in a dynamic world.

Students examine educational perspectives from a wide range of cultures and countries.

Based on these perspectives, graduates will learn how to design effective curriculum to serve diverse and increasingly globalized student populations.

Graduates will use their collaborative action research skills, drawing on international perspectives to better meet the needs of their communities.
